Staff Engineer, Analog/Mixed Signal Design
About the role
Lead the design and development of analog and mixed-signal circuits for battery monitoring applications
Collaborate with functional safety teams and incorporate safety considerations into circuit architecture and design decisions
Support silicon evaluation and debug, and failure analysis to ensure robust performance and reliability
Conduct effective design reviews and drive high-quality design practices across the development process
Adhere to the requirements management plan and generate clear documentation and traceability evidence for product requirements
Collaborate across layout, verification, test, applications, and system teams to support product development and timely execution
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and contribute to continuous improvement in analog design methods and practices across the team
Responsibilities

Requirements
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of analog and mixed-signal design experience
- Strong expertise in the design and analysis of precision analog circuits, including signal-chain building blocks, references, oscillators, and power conversion circuits
- Deep understanding of mixed-signal integration challenges, including power-domain crossings, signal integrity, noise management, and system-level tradeoffs
- Awareness of layout-sensitive analog design considerations, including matching, parasitics, shielding, isolation, and floor-planning tradeoffs
- Familiarity with ISO26262 functional safety standards and ability to incorporate functional safety considerations into circuit and product design activities
- Ability to work effectively across disciplines, provide technical direction, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to strong design practices across the team
Qualifications
