Staff Engineer - AI Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an AI Engineer with 6-9 years of experience to join our team in Grand Prairie, Texas. This is an onsite role requiring four days a week in the office (Monday–Thursday). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manufacturing, particularly in shop floor operations, production planning, and systems such as MES, SCADA, and ERP.

Responsibilities

• Bridge OT/IT systems for real-time data extraction using industrial protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus).
• Apply OEE, Six Sigma, SPC, and lean methodologies to drive measurable gains in yield, uptime, and efficiency.
• Architect RAG pipelines using Hugging Face, LangChain, and OpenAI API, integrating generative AI into enterprise cloud environments.
• Translate complex model outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for operations and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience as an AI Engineer.
• Hands-on experience in shop floor operations, production planning, and systems including MES, SCADA, and ERP.
• Proficiency in industrial protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus).
• Experience with LLM/AI tools: Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI API.
• Strong skills in Python, R, and SQL.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Manufacturing domain experience (2-4 years) is optional but preferred.
