Staff DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Join our team as a DevSecOps Engineer at Lockheed Martin. This role is responsible for ensuring the security and reliability of our systems through automation and continuous integration practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure automated pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Implement security measures such as vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and operations to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to enhance system security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps or IT Security roles.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
