About the role
The Staff Development LPN supports the training, development, and ongoing competency of nursing staff within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Aids in onboarding and in-service education of nursing staff.
- Maintains compliance with state and federal regulations related to nursing practices.
- Collaborates with nursing leadership to enhance quality care, professional growth, and safe clinical practices.
- May be eligible for a $2,000.00 sign-on bonus, subject to facility terms and conditions.
Qualifications
- Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Louisiana.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of basic nursing practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to assist with staff education, orientation, and competency monitoring.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain training documentation.
