Staff Data Engineer

The experimentation team builds and maintains the Intuit experimentation Platform, an enterprise-wide capability for moving rapidly and reliably from hypothesis to action. At Intuit, all teams (TurboTax, Credit Karma, and QuickBooks to name a few) use IXP. Our aim is to give every individual at Intuit a voice by providing them a platform where they can test their ideas and have data from their experiments backing their ideas.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with a world-class org of Engineering, ML, Search, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Analytics practitioners who work together to create a variety of capabilities for Intuit to be more successful in its decision-making and product creation
- Drive innovations through effective identification and application of analytics, causal inference, experimentation, and machine learning
- Have a direct influence on how product decisions are made
- Identify, compute and validate the appropriate metrics to measure success in a product area
- Proactively perform data exploration on engagement behaviors to discover future opportunities
- Cultivate strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders from product, engineering, operations, design, consumer research, etc
- Present your research and insights to all levels of the company
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Engineering or related technical field
- Bachelor's in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience programming in Java or Python
- Strong proficiency in visualization tools with hands-on experience building complex dashboards in Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI
- Proven track records of developing and managing complex analytics data mart and data pipelines is a must-have
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in applying advanced analytics techniques such as python, ML models, LLM, etc., is a plus
- Ability to create analytical framework for solving complex business problems with proven track record
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives
- Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical
- Be able to communicate effectively with senior executives

The expected base pay range for this position is: $191,500 - $259,000 The Expected Base Pay Range For This Position Is Mountain View $191,500 - $259,000 San Diego, CA $188,500- $255,000
