Staff Data Engineer
As a Staff Data Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of our data infrastructure, focusing on data quality, scalability, and optimization. You will work with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers to ensure data reliability and support the execution of our mission.
- Define technical roadmaps for the entire data platform
- Establish organization-wide data standards
- Lead complex, multi-functional initiatives
- Drive the design of highly scalable and optimized data models
- Influence technology choices and mentor other engineers
Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in data engineering
- Expert-level proficiency in modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Apache Airflow, Python)
- Mastery of advanced data modeling techniques
- Architectural ownership and engineering elevation
- Prior experience in marketplace or two-sided platforms (plus)
Compensation & Benefits
The expected base pay range for this position is $212,000 - $265,000, based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
