Staff Data and AI Platform Engineer

For our client, a leader in the Consumer Technology space, we are seeking a Staff Data and AI Platform Engineer to join their team. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year data platform architecture vision and roadmap
• Serve as technical decision-maker for architectural choices
• Evaluate and pilot emerging data platform technologies
• Drive alignment across various engineering teams
• Mentor data and analytics engineers and set engineering standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in data or platform engineering, with 3+ years focusing on Snowflake
• Proven architectural judgment in balancing standardization, autonomy, and security at an enterprise level

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

$129,000 – $210,000 annually
