Places of performance for this position are Annapolis Junction, MD; San Antonio, TX; Aurora, CO; and Carey, NC.

Responsibilities

• Provide custom software design and development of CNO tools and techniques.
• Design and develop end-to-end data flow and tasking into CNO tools.
• Provide and author documentation, participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews in accordance with the Government's software development procedures and processes.
• Program in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
• Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments; or embedded/mobile platform development using proprietary, GOTS, or open-source build environments.
• Provide and author documentation, participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews as prescribed by the Government's software development procedures and processes.
• Design and develop end-to-end data flow and tasking for CNO tools.
• Provide and author technical presentations on assigned projects.
• Actively participate and direct the design and development of end-to-end data flow and tasking for CNO tools.
• Actively participate and lead/direct the development of new CNO solutions that meet the demands of customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering with 12 years of experience; Master's degree with 10 years of experience; PhD with 8 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience can be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Active and current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Experience in programming with CNO tools and techniques.
• Experience using network sockets programming, including developing packet-level programs and expert packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols.
• Software development experience in one or more of the following:
  • Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments, or
  • Unix/Linux applications using make files or comparable build environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Software analysis or reverse engineering.
• CNO development concepts.
• Unit testing frameworks and practices.

Pay

Primary level salary range: $185,900.00 - $292,100.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
