Its strengths span complex litigation, regulatory work, corporate transactions, real estate, intellectual property, investigations, and government-facing matters.

About the role

The opportunity involves supporting commercial real estate acquisitions, development projects, financings, leasing matters, and dispositions. Responsibilities include leading or supporting title and survey review, diligence, issue identification, and resolution. You will draft, review, and negotiate real estate documents with exceptional attention to detail, coordinate transaction workstreams, and deliver practical, responsive service to sophisticated clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support commercial real estate acquisitions, development projects, financings, leasing matters, and dispositions.
  • Lead or support title and survey review, diligence, issue identification, and resolution.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate documents while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Coordinate transaction workstreams and deliver practical, responsive service to sophisticated clients.

Requirements

  • At least eight years of broad commercial real estate experience in a law firm setting.
  • Deep knowledge of acquisitions, development, financing, leasing, dispositions, title, and survey matters.
  • Entrepreneurial and solutions-oriented approach with excellent communication and strong project management skills.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active, good-standing admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Work Model

  • Hybrid - generally three days per week in office.
  • Staff-attorney workload and bonus eligibility may differ from associate structure.

Expectations

  • Associate billable target: 1,850 hours annually.
  • Total annual time expectation: 2,200 hours, including approved professional development, pro bono, firm citizenship, and business development activities.
