As a Staff Cloud Solutions Architect, you play a critical role in building trusted technical partnerships with key customers and ecosystem partners. You will lead account-level technology strategy, guide solution design, and help customers optimize system architectures across Micron’s portfolio. This is a highly visible role that blends deep technical expertise, customer engagement, and cross-functional leadership!

Responsibilities

  • Lead technology strategy for assigned cloud and enterprise accounts in partnership with Sales and field teams
  • Build trusted technical relationships with customers and ecosystem partners by aligning Micron solutions to system-level challenges
  • Provide system and solution-level guidance, including trade-offs across performance, cost, and compatibility
  • Develop and share reusable solution designs and best practices across the sales organization
  • Influence product and solutions roadmaps by representing the voice of the customer across business units

Qualifications

Micron requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent practical experience, and 10+ years of customer-facing presales, solutions architecture, or field applications engineering experience. Hands-on systems experience with server architectures, data center environments, and memory or storage technologies is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to build trust and influence technical and business stakeholders, as well as strong communication and presentation skills in English, written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with NeoCloud or hyperscale cloud customers
  • Familiarity with AI infrastructure for training and inference workloads
  • Experience defining account-level architecture strategy aligned to product direction
  • Background in DRAM and SSD architecture within system-level solutions
  • Experience providing technical training to customers and internal teams
