About the role

This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test. Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening. Due to Federal requirements, only US citizens, US naturalized citizens or US Permanent Residents, holding a green card, will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Establish long range plan and monthly forecast of public cloud cost & usage
  • Identify and track optimization opportunities
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure efficient resource usage
  • Handle commit-based-discount coverage & utilization
  • Manage cloud cost forecasting models
  • Develop and maintain cloud cost forecasting models
  • Manage commit-based-discount coverage & utilization
  • Provide visibility and insights into cloud expenses through dashboards and reports
  • Define and implement cost allocations to measure unit-metrics of cost per customer and cost per instance
  • Define and promote best practices for cloud cost governance
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in cost management
  • Work with cloud service providers on demand planning and capacity reservation

Qualifications

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a FinOps or cloud financial management role
  • Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS or Azure cloud providers is a strong plus
  • Deep knowledge of cloud cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Google Cloud Billing)
  • Strong experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and enterprise-level cost optimization strategies
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and partner closely with Engineering, Finance, and Executive Leadership teams
  • Full professional proficiency in English (mandatory)

Benefits

To be considered for this role, you must be a US citizen, US naturalized citizen, or US Permanent Resident with a green card. Base pay ranges from $146,200 to $255,900, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Additional benefits include health plans, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.
