Staff Attorney (Henry County)

Primary Responsibilities

• Represent clients and litigate cases in a variety of forums, including administrative, state, and federal
• Handles cases in Henry and Newton counties
• Draft advice letters, briefs, motions, and memoranda
• Conduct community legal education sessions and engage in outreach activities
• Participate in action teams that explore and solve systemic issues affecting clients

Qualifications

• Experience in representing clients in housing rights, family law, and Temporary Protective Orders for survivors of domestic violence cases
• Strong legal writing and advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Spanish (additional compensation available)

• Salary range: $63,025 – $78,725, dependent upon experience
