About the role
The Piedmont Office serves 14 counties just outside of the metro-Atlanta area and this position will focus on providing legal services in Henry and Newton counties. Cases will predominantly encompass housing rights, family law and Temporary Protective Orders for survivors of domestic violence.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal services in Henry and Newton counties focusing on housing rights, family law, and Temporary Protective Orders for survivors of domestic violence.
- Work from the Piedmont Office at 104 Marietta St., NW, Atlanta, GA one day a week;
- Work in a Henry County location two days a week;
- Work remotely two days a week.
Requirements
- Admitted to practice law in Georgia
- Experience in family law and housing law
- Experience working with clients who are survivors of domestic violence
- Ability to travel to Henry County locations
Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school
- Passing grade on the Georgia Bar Exam
