Responsibilities
As a Staff Attorney at Leaders, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal department in various legal matters. Your expertise will help ensure our institution operates within the legal framework and maintains the highest standards of integrity and compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conducting legal research and analysis on various issues
- Managing and organizing legal files, documents, and records
- Coordinating with internal departments to gather necessary information for legal matters
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting the financial industry
- Providing administrative support to the legal department as needed
Schedule
This position follows a standard schedule of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. While occasional overtime may be required to deliver top-notch member service, we value work-life balance and strive to limit it.
Requirements
For this role, we are looking for someone who:
- Has a law degree from an accredited law school
- Possesses excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills
- Demonstrates high attention to detail
- Maintains a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co-workers
- Has very strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Can work independently and manage multiple tasks with keen attention to detail
