Staff Attorney
About the role
Holland & Knight seeks a Staff Attorney with at least three years of experience, preferably in consumer finance litigation, including drafting motions and negotiating settlements. Experience representing banks, lenders, credit card issuers, and loan servicing companies is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drafting motions and negotiating settlements in consumer finance cases
- Representing clients in legal disputes
- Conducting thorough research and analysis
- Collaborating with colleagues on complex cases
Requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in consumer finance litigation
- Barred in a jurisdiction with a U.S. office location of Holland & Knight
- Work in the office at least three business days per week
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree and be licensed to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction. A commitment to client service and a collaborative work environment is essential.
