Job Specific Working Conditions

Young Life in Western Prince William County, VA has a great blend of all the best parts of the Capital Region. It has a close proximity to Washington D.C. and borders some of the regions beautiful rural areas. Within the geographic area are towns like Haymarket, Gainesville, and Manassas. There are currently six public high schools and eight middle schools in the area.

Ministry Functions

• Spiritual Development — “Following Jesus” includes prayer and spiritual disciplines, fellowship, growth and health and church relationships.
• Leadership Development — “Equipping leaders, committee and staff” includes key volunteer care, recruiting, team building and training, supervision and vision casting.
• Resource Development — “Fueling the ministry” includes events, major donor care, public relations (branding) and TDS team.
• Direct Ministry — “Proclaiming and modeling” includes contact work, club, Campaigners and camp.
• Ministry Support — “Taking care of business” includes accounting, administration, communication (internal), data management and strategic plan.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Experience in direct ministry.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
