About the role

The Clinical Administration team at Child Mind Institute supports the delivery of high-quality mental health care to children and families. Reporting to the Senior Staff Associate, this position involves administrative tasks, communication facilitation, and support coverage for the clinical practice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage clinicians' calendars to ensure efficient use of clinical time.
  • Schedule appointments in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Facilitate communication between clinicians and patients/families via phone and email.
  • Collect initial patient information and support intake workflows.
  • Cover patient appointments and support daily billing and practice workflows through the EMR system.
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and protect personal health information.
  • Provide support coverage for additional team members as needed.
  • Collaborate across teams to support patient care.
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative and operational functions.
  • Support additional responsibilities and projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative or office experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems.

Pay

The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role).
