Staff Architect

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Architect to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape solution architecture across cloud, infrastructure, and application domains in support of strategic business objectives. You will partner closely with governance, security, and delivery teams to evaluate design choices, guide complex initiatives, and strengthen the overall architecture landscape. The work will require balancing modern technology direction with compliance considerations while helping teams move efficiently and make sound technical decisions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $171,700 – $209,800 annually Responsibilities Lead the development of comprehensive solution architectures aligned with strategic objectives Support the governance and evolution of the application portfolio Participate in architecture governance and design reviews Provide architectural expertise across cloud and infrastructure initiatives Manage multiple solution efforts and guide teams through complex decisions Evaluate architecture decisions through security and compliance lenses Use modern AI tools to enhance productivity in architecture work Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field, or equivalent experience 7 years of experience in designing and implementing technology architectures Certification in LEAN, Agile/Scrum, or ITIL preferred Advanced knowledge of cloud-native technologies and modern hosting environments Familiarity with Microsoft infrastructure and solution stacks required Strong relationship-building skills and ability to communicate complex concepts Benefits 401(k) Company Match up to 3% 4% annual contribution to your 401(k) Medical, Dental and Vision coverage PTO Program + Exchange Program Tuition Reimbursement Program Volunteer time off + donation match Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
