Your Team, Your Impact

This team's work is essential to Marvell's ability to deliver reliable, high-performance SSD chipsets. Without this team's execution, Marvell would lack the critical post-silicon validation needed to ensure that Storage SoCs function correctly, meet performance targets, and operate within power specifications before reaching customers.

This team is responsible for designing and executing post-silicon validation tests during R&D, developing bare-metal software, and validating Storage SoCs across pre-silicon and post-silicon phases. Day-to-day work includes developing testing applications, analyzing results, and preparing professional validation reports. Unlike similar roles at other companies, this team works on Marvell's advanced SSD controller technology within a collaborative environment that directly influences products used in enterprise, cloud, and AI data infrastructures—technology that most people recognize as the storage driving modern data centers and high-performance computing.

What You Can Expect

  • Design and execute post silicon validation tests for SSD Chipsets during R&D processes
  • Develop, port, and execute bare metal SW to validate Storage SoCs
  • Perform Pre and Post Si testing of bare metal functionality of the Storage SoC, including performance and power
  • Review and prepare test plans and test results documentation
  • Develop testing and benchmarking applications
  • Analyze test results and generate professional validation reports
  • Provide technical support to Field Application Engineers who support customers
  • Provide technical support to Test Engineers who design tests for mass production

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 3-5 years of related professional experience
  • Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 2-3 years of experience
  • Hardware validation/applications engineer experience in Solid State Drives
  • Prior experience interacting with customers
  • Experience in Firmware Development under Bare Metal/Linux Environment and Debugging on SoCs for embedded Applications
  • Understanding of SSD controller is preferred
  • Experience in interfaces like PCIe is a plus
  • Good communication skills, written and spoken
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work in a team
