Network Validation Engineer
Job Summary
Supermicro is seeking a Network Validation Engineer to perform manual tests and create automation for Web-Based applications on switches, SCM, SCC, Ethernet cards, InfiniBand switches, and HBAs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Testing front-end GUI
- Create and maintain automation for Front-End applications
- Conduct functionality testing, compatibility testing, performance testing, stress and reliability testing
- Report hardware and software quality issues into bug tracking systems
- Document and analyze test data
- Maintain and improve validation test plans and test instructions
- Contribute in the development of test utilities and test script automation
- Support internal and external quality issues and drive to issue resolution
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 3+ years of working knowledge in hardware/networking field
- Experienced in Front-End web-based, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- Familiar with Rest API, Postman, curl
- Knowledge of computer networking, SONiC, TCP/IP, L2/L3, SDN, and InfiniBand
- Familiar with Linux, Windows, and networking
- Strong in Python and Bash scripting
- PowerShell scripting is a plus
- Strong sense of teamwork and a good team player, strong communication skills
- Knowledge and experience of server performance benchmarks and tuning is a plus
Pay
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
