Staff, Analytics Engineer, GTM Data Science & Analytics

For our client, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, we are seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer to join the GTM Data Science & Analytics team. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a formal business data layer in dbt for centralized GTM metrics
• Collaborate with GTM Operations and Finance teams to define and maintain business metrics alignment
• Develop automated reconciliation and quality checks to ensure report accuracy
• Mentor data science and analytics team members on best practices for data modeling and documentation
• Lead investigations into data anomalies, providing root cause analyses and solutions

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence, preferably in SaaS sales analytics
• Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience in dbt for data modeling and pipeline orchestration
• Experience partnering with teams to establish critical business metrics and ensure data alignment
• Proven background in implementing data quality frameworks, including CI/CD and observability
• Strong communication and mentorship abilities, facilitating complex concepts to diverse audiences

Pay

$155,520 – $228,700 annually
