Staff AI Engineer - Enterprise Analysis Platform (Remote Eligible)

For our client, we are seeking a Staff AI Engineer - Enterprise Analysis Platform (Remote Eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will help shape enterprise AI capabilities that support scalable analysis, responsible model deployment, and technical excellence across the organization. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to build AI-powered solutions and establish architecture standards that guide how advanced AI is designed and delivered. The position combines hands-on engineering depth with strategic influence over production AI systems, optimization, and orchestration. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $244,700 – $279,200 annually Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products Design and develop AI software components, including model training and workflows Utilize open source and SaaS AI technologies to optimize performance Introduce optimization techniques for large-scale production AI systems Guide the technical direction for enterprise-wide AI architecture Oversee the integration of model routing, caching, and orchestration systems Promote responsible AI principles in design and implementation Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field 8+ years of experience developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies 8+ years of programming experience with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java Experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring engineering teams Experience defining enterprise AI architecture standards Strong foundation in engineering and mathematics Benefits Comprehensive health benefits Financial support for well-being Performance-based incentive compensation opportunities Inclusive company culture Opportunities for professional development and mentorship Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
