Staff Accountant, Outsource Accounting and Finance

Responsibilities

• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations
• Preparing sales tax returns
• Preparing month-end closings
• Preparing trial balance and adjusting journal entries
• Working independently in the office and at client locations
• Adhering to professional standards and maintaining strict client confidentiality
• Learns and utilizes appropriate resources and technology
• Passionate about providing superior customer satisfaction
• Effective in daily client interaction and communication

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of small business accounting/bookkeeping experience
• A minimum of an Associates degree in a related discipline
• Proficiency with accounting software applications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Reliable transportation with ability to travel to client sites and other office locations

Pay

The salary range for the role is $55,000 – $65,000 per year.

Schedule

Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday. We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times.

The Bonadio Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to work with the Outsource Accounting and Finance team. This position provides delivery of accounting and bookkeeping services for multiple clients in a variety of industries.
