Staff Accountant (Hybrid) (SAP - preferred!)

Key Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of full-cycle accounting and general ledger activities.
• Participate in the month-end and quarter-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports.
• Aid in financial statement preparation and account analysis.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and account analysis.
• Support internal and external audit activities and maintain compliance with internal controls.
• Review employee expense reports and assist with expense management processes.
• Provide backup support for accounts payable and other accounting functions as needed.
• Assist with inventory, tax, and regulatory reporting activities.
• Prioritize and respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and support business initiatives.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• Strong experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing, co-op, consumer products, distribution, or similar operational environment.
• Experience working with SAP ERP.
• Experience using Concur Expense Management.
• Exposure to inventory accounting, internal controls, audits, or financial reporting.
