Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting activities across multiple areas of the business.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable (A/R), including payment processing and account follow-up.
- Assist with Accounts Payable (A/P), including invoice review, coding, processing, and vendor account maintenance.
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Assist with General Ledger activities and month-end close processes.
- Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies.
- Conduct account analysis to identify trends, variances, and unusual activity.
- Assist with preparation of financial and management reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting questions and discrepancies.
- Take on additional accounting responsibilities and projects as skills and experience develop.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting profession.
