Responsibilities
- Participates in the month-end close by preparing journal entries and accruals; estimating amounts to accrue, defer, reverse, or change based upon historical data and knowledge of business.
- Reconciles account balances for assigned accounts and prepares supporting documentation.
- Calculates royalties and rebates for a set of assigned accounts and prepares supporting documentation for review.
- Researches discrepancies and issues, working with other team members to resolve.
- Gathers support for interim, SOX, and year-end audit requests.
- Performs various Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable functions, working cross-functionally and independently driving tasks to completion.
- Continues to improve internal processes and documentation clarity.
- Looks to increase efficiency through process automation.
- Partners with other functions to improve end-to-end process understanding and communications.
- Acts as backup for other accounting staff to ensure proper staffing needs are met and to enable achievement of department goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience (can be internships or part-time jobs), or an Associate's degree in Accounting with 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience providing equivalent knowledge.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel (experience with formulas, pivot tables, multi-faceted Excel spreadsheets, etc.) and strong numeric aptitude.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or UIPath is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented, and possess good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (e.g., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa, or any other non-immigrant work status).
Pay
Pay Range $55,600.00 - $91,450.00
