Staff Accountant - Financial Reporting

Responsibilities
- Aid with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial book close, including financial statement preparation, analysis, and variance reporting.
- Prepare periodic reports to the SEC (8-K, 10-Q, 10-K).
- Maintain and update the XBRL reporting framework for SEC compliance.
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations and analyze various asset and liability accounts.
- Support with enterprise-wide compliance of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
- Assist with business acquisitions and integrations.
- Evaluate new accounting pronouncements and ensure compliance.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
- CPA or serious CPA candidate preferred but not required.
- 1-3 years of experience in Big 4 public accounting or a combination of public/private experience.
- Strong working knowledge of current GAAP and SEC reporting regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Effective and efficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to details.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cross-departmental environment.
- SAP and XBRL experience a plus.
Qualifications

Pay
$75,000 - $90,000 per year (dependent on experience)
