Staff Accountant - Financial Reporting
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements.
- Aid in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC and other filings.
- Aid with annual audit and quarterly reviews.
- Research and assist with accounting, consolidation, and reporting issues.
- Maintain supporting documentation for financial reporting.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Solid time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and function independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving ability to recognize issues and deal with them directly
- Personable, positive, and enthusiastic attitude with capability to deal effectively with people
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organization skills and work habits
- Initiative with desire to become involved in the business
- Flexibility with ability to work in a team setting supporting several people
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Qualifications
- The Staff level requires 2 - 5 years of experience preferably in a public accounting firm or with a public accounting company.
- The Senior level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience.

Working Conditions:
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
