Client Overview Our client is an established organization seeking a Staff Accountant to support their financial operations and reporting processes. Salary/Hourly Rate $45/hr - $50/hr Position Overview Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This individual will assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and general ledger maintenance while working closely with the accounting team. Responsibilities Of The Staff Accountant Prepare and post journal entries and month-end adjustments.Record and reconcile monthly bank activity.Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.Review general ledger activity for accuracy.Analyze expenses and investigate budget variances.Reconcile inventory balances and research discrepancies.Assist with tax accruals and quarterly filings.Review claims and record related receivables.Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting issues.Support process improvements and other accounting projects. Required Experience/Skills For The Staff Accountant 3 - 5 years of corporate accounting experience.Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Preferred Experience/Skills For The Staff Accountant Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or similar accounting systems.Background in inventory accounting and expense analysis.Knowledge of tax accruals and regulatory filings.CPA certification is a plus but not required. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.CPA designation is preferred.
