Staff Accountant (12-Month Contract)

About the role

Bally's Interactive is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the financial operations and reporting of assigned entities within the Interactive division are accurate and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries with solid supporting documentation
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain thorough documentation to support audits and financial reviews
• Collaborate with internal departments for accurate financial reporting
• Support ad-hoc reporting requests, financial analysis, and special projects
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-4 years of accounting experience
• Excellent understanding of general ledger accounting
• Experience performing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle or a similar ERP system is a plus

Benefits
