About the role

Maintain accurate financial records and support the month-end and year-end closing processes in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other month-end adjustments
• Complete account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Perform group/company consolidations and support consolidated financial reporting
• Prepare monthly financial statements and other management reports
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances
• Utilize Epicor and other ERP systems to maintain accurate financial data
• Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation
• Work with operations and other departments to ensure accurate manufacturing-related accounting information

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
• ERP systems experience required; Epicor is a plus
• Strong experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Experience preparing financial reports and supporting month-end close
• Knowledge of financial consolidations and multi-entity accounting
• Strong understanding of ERP-based accounting systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
