About the role

This is a full-time, W2 employee opportunity with high visibility and leadership growth. This is a unique opportunity for a proven clinician to become a leader in an anesthesia department and work with a dedicated team of clinicians, surgeons, and medical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the anesthesia department in providing high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to optimize surgical outcomes
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and patient safety
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in West Virginia
• At least 10 years of clinical experience as an anesthesiologist
• Experience in leadership roles within an anesthesia department
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
