The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality nursing care to patients/clients of St George Hospital consistent with SESLHD and St George Hospital policies, procedures, and standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care to patients/clients in an acute care setting.
- Proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and guide others in providing service excellence.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
- Apply risk management, safety, and quality principles in alignment with the role of the Registered Nurse.
- Use health information systems and maintain basic computer skills.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to identify key messages, issues, and concerns.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety, and quality principles.
- Recent post-registration experience in an acute care setting.

Pay
$41.23 - $57.88 per hour plus superannuation.
Schedule
Up to 38 hours per week. Permanent full-time and part-time positions available.
