Responsibilities
- Supporting CLB SSBN construction efforts by developing detailed analytic products, decision support tools, and complex briefings for senior government leadership.
- Tracking, managing, and documenting action items arising from critical CLB construction and performance reviews, ensuring timely follow-through and stakeholder awareness.
- Coinciding and facilitating engagement across shipbuilders, vendors, and government stakeholder organizations to support program execution and maintain alignment on construction and integration milestones.
- Conducting travel, as required, to shipbuilder and vendor sites to provide on-site oversight, support data collection, and enhance situational awareness of construction progress and program risks.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to senior clients by synthesizing technical information, identifying key issues, and supporting informed, data-driven decision-making across the CLB SSBN program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- The ability to work onsite, up to full time, depending upon client needs
- 3-5 years of experience supporting submarine, undersea, or relevant related defense programs
- Experience directly supporting leadership decision making, with ability to develop and brief technical reports and solutions
- Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment
Additional Qualifications
- Prior experience performing data analysis, visualization, and planning activities in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledgeable of the Navy requirements and program office organizations and processes
