SSBN Program Liaison

Responsibilities

• Supporting CLB SSBN construction efforts by developing detailed analytic products, decision support tools, and complex briefings for senior government leadership.
• Tracking, managing, and documenting action items arising from critical CLB construction and performance reviews, ensuring timely follow-through and stakeholder awareness.
• Coinciding and facilitating engagement across shipbuilders, vendors, and government stakeholder organizations to support program execution and maintain alignment on construction and integration milestones.
• Conducting travel, as required, to shipbuilder and vendor sites to provide on-site oversight, support data collection, and enhance situational awareness of construction progress and program risks.
• Serving as a trusted advisor to senior clients by synthesizing technical information, identifying key issues, and supporting informed, data-driven decision-making across the CLB SSBN program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• The ability to work onsite, up to full time, depending upon client needs
• 3-5 years of experience supporting submarine, undersea, or relevant related defense programs
• Experience directly supporting leadership decision making, with ability to develop and brief technical reports and solutions
• Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment

Additional Qualifications

• Prior experience performing data analysis, visualization, and planning activities in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledgeable of the Navy requirements and program office organizations and processes
