About the role
Under direct supervision completes tasks, according to skill level, to assist surgery personnel in providing nursing care and surgical services to patients in the operating room area.
Schedule
- Part Time, PRN (as needed)
- 12-hour shifts (7 a – 7 p)
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- BLS certified; required certification must be current before assigned to care for patients independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course
- Previous Nurse aide and/or phlebotomy experience in acute care setting
