SRO Janitor (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

• Ensure Catholic Charities Housing Office Single Resident Occupancy buildings are in good repair at all times, maintaining building safety and cleanliness.
• Perform routine interior maintenance as scheduled to keep common areas clean, including vacuuming and shampooing rugs, removing trash, and ensuring entrances are free of debris.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in kitchens and bathrooms at all times.
• Inspect and clean common areas (lobby, kitchen, lounges, bathrooms, halls) each shift as assigned.
• Inspect grounds and perform tasks to maintain safe and clean outdoor areas throughout the year.
• Inventory and maintain a neat and organized supply of cleaning materials.
• Assist in the preparation of vacant rooms for move-ins as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 - 3 years of experience working with a diverse population.
• NYS Driver's License (required).

Pay

$16.00/hour

Schedule

24 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
