As a Janitor, you'll… Tessera Janitors play a critical role in preserving the appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of Tessera’s Home Office headquarters. This position is ideal for an individual who takes pride in their work, demonstrates personal accountability, and treats the building as their own. Through consistent, high-quality cleaning and maintenance, the Janitor supports a healthy, organized, and professional work environment. Located in Bremerton, Washington, this is a non‑exempt part‑time position.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, fixtures, partitions, walls, and doors; restock supplies; collect trash and replace liners; sweep and mop floors in accordance with cross contamination procedures
• Clean kitchen areas, including wiping down the interior and exterior of refrigerators, countertops, the interior and exterior of stoves and ovens, and the interior and exterior of microwaves, according to established schedules.
• Clean office areas by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming according to established schedules.
• Clean hallways and high traffic areas by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming according to schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness of building entrances and exits by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming according to schedule.
• Clean all floors and carpeted surfaces, including stairwells, by sweeping, mopping, and wiping handrails according to schedule.
• Maintain janitor closet by cleaning, organizing, and ensuring all equipment is cleaned and properly stored.
• Wipe down interior building baseboards according to schedule.
• Empty office trash daily and dispose of waste in designated dumpsters; collect and dispose of recycling materials in designated recycling dumpsters according to schedule.
• Interact professionally and courteously with employees, visitors, and customers
• Work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
