About the role
Provide an SRE (Architect V/ Engineer V level) to support the client's efforts to reduce the failover time of applications in AWS. The resource will act as a Subject Matter Expert in multi‑regional resiliency, infrastructure as code, and AWS‑native services.
Requirements
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- Proven expertise implementing multi‑regional resiliency in AWS
- Core AWS experience with deep understanding of infrastructure as code principles
- Ability to work with CloudFormation YAML and Terraform
Skills
- Programming: Python (reading, tweaking, modifying resiliency automation code)
- AWS services: EC2, ECS, Route 53, Elastic Load Balancing, Lambda, SQS, S3, EFS, RDS
- Infrastructure as Code tools: CloudFormation YAML, Terraform
- Experience with automation/resiliency scripts and ability to adapt existing code
