About the role
The role of SRAM Circuit Designer within the Digital Custom Group involves designing and implementing custom digital circuits for SRAM. You will work closely with a talented logic and architecture team to define specifications and optimize designs for power, timing, area, and yield.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement custom digital circuits for SRAM design.
- Work with the logic and architecture team to formulate design specifications.
- Define architecture and topologies optimizing for power, timing, area, and yield.
- Conduct schematic capture, simulations, analysis, and margin verifications.
- Perform functional equivalency and DFT modeling.
- Collaborate with the layout team to create optimal GDS.
- Verify that extracted GDS meets design specifications.
- Conduct backend verification, including IR and EM analysis.
- Write RTL, validate use-cases, and verify against design schematics.
- Support post-silicon efforts to enable productization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience within a SoC design cycle.
- Knowledge of Cache design and memory hierarchy.
- Working knowledge of RTL modeling.
- Deep understanding of industry-standard design tools.
- Deep understanding of nanometer device physics and leakage mechanisms.
- Ability to devise experiments and analyze data for silicon debug.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning algorithms and scripting is a plus.
