Sr. Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster – WA Adjuster’s License Needed

Job Description

The Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster will:

• Handle a case load commensurate with the complexity level of claims assigned.
• Collaborate with highly trained staff and state-of-the-art technology to promote injured worker recovery in a prompt, fair, and ethical manner.
• Handle a case load of Oregon claims; may include other similar jurisdictions.
• Possess compassion and humility to serve on the Workers’ Compensation Team and positively impact injured worker recovery and the company’s financial success.

Qualification Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a 2-year degree or higher is preferred.
• Seven (7) or more years of prior claim adjusting experience are required.
• Must be eligible for reserve/payment authority level of $50,000+ when appropriate.
• Must have claims adjusting experience with Washington workers’ compensation claims.
• Claims adjusting experience with other states (Oregon workers’ compensation claims) is preferred.
• A valid Washington Adjuster’s License is required.
• Must be open to handling multiple jurisdictions and obtaining appropriate licensing as needed.
