Key Responsibilities
- Lead Workday Security (RBAC, SoD, SOX compliance, audits, IAM integrations)
- Design and develop integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and APIs (REST/SOAP)
- Create advanced reports and dashboards using BIRT & Report Writer
- Manage business process orchestration and automation
- Provide production support and drive continuous improvements
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of Workday technical experience
- Strong expertise in Security, Studio/Integrations, Extend, and Reporting
- Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, APIs
- Knowledge of SOX, IAM (e.g., SailPoint), and enterprise integrations
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Nice To Have
- Workday certifications
- Experience with Prism, Azure, or automation tools
- Background supporting HCM, Finance, or Payroll modules

Primary Duties
- Assists in the design and development and testing of software applications
- Solves day-to-day incidents to assure the integrity of the services being provided
- Consumes, transforms, and updates data between two or more systems using Integration software
- Consults with business partners to identify and define software applications needs
- Analyzes requests for changes, updates, or modifications to new or existing software applications and makes recommendations for designs to meet client specifications
- Consults with business partners to create documentation relating to the program definition, development, business requirements
- Documentation includes software objectives, deliverables, and end user specifications
- Aids, mentors, and provides technical direction, leadership, guidance, and support for Applications Developers and other IT staff
- Helps in smooth maintenance of the system and meets SLA’s to provide data to the users
- Writes, translates, and codes software programs and applications according to specifications and end user requirements
- Prepares system, context, and infrastructure diagrams needed in application development and analysis
- Trains end users to operate new or modified programs, reporting tools, and analytics
- Prepares and writes reports for management and/or team members on the status of assignments
- Works with end users regarding systems analysis, general systems design, and detail systems design
- Works independently to keep up with new and changing technological advances in program languages, utilities, tools, and client/server technology to achieve optimal results
- Follows IT procedures and naming conventions guidance
- Provides proper documentation as required by IT standards
Minimum Requirements & Skills
- Educational/Experience Level: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, Business or a closely related field and four years of experience in software programming
- Communication Skills: Requires the ability to communicate, persuade, and/or influence internal and/or external business partners at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature
- Numeric Skills: Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages, and simple statistical methods
- Computer Skills: Requires a very high level of computer skills in order to use various software packages as well as a familiarity with hardware configuration. Proficient in MS Office Tools.
