Sr. Web Designer, Branded Experience

About the role

Abruptly tasked with enhancing the online presence of TechTarget, the Sr. Web Designer, Branded Experience is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's web presence using Webflow and WordPress. Collaborating closely with the marketing and development teams, this role aims to create engaging and responsive web experiences that boost traffic and user engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive web experiences using Webflow and WordPress.
• Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to create visually striking, highly engaging web pages, features, sites, etc. to grow traffic and stickiness.
• Ensure compatibility across various devices and browsers.
• Maintain and update existing websites to improve usability and performance.
• Stay up to date with the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.
• Apply UI/UX principles to enhance user engagement and interaction on websites.
• Build and maintain a design system to ensure consistency across all digital products.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Web Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in web design, demonstrating a solid foundation in design principles and proficiency with relevant tools.
• Proficiency in Webflow and/or WordPress for website design and development.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with graphic design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD.
• Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Experience with SEO best practices and principles.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
