Sr. UX Designer, People Engagement Experience Team

Key job responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end UX strategy for complex products and services, including AI-powered features, by incorporating user insights, business requirements, and technical constraints into elegant and intuitive user experiences
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity mockups with detailed visual design specifications for mobile and web interfaces throughout the design process
• Design AI-first experiences that leverage emerging technologies while maintaining human-centered design principles and ensuring transparency, trust, and usability
• Own design decisions for problems with complexity, working through ambiguity and adapting your approach to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders while articulating trade-offs and rationale
• Partner with researchers to test your solutions in front of users, and build lightweight prototypes and conduct scrappy and quick user testing on your own if required
• Present design work to UX, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as stakeholders and executive leadership, confidently communicating your vision and demonstrating business impact
• Contribute to user experience design guidelines and development best practices and standards at Amazon Design Community, particularly around AI integration and emerging technologies

About the team

The People Engagement Experience team is a multidisciplinary group creating meaningful products and experiences that empower and connect millions of Amazon employees. The team consists of 40+ UX designers, UX researchers, visual designers, and copywriters.

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
