Sr. UX Designer, Devices Core UX
About the role
The Senior UX Designer will lead the Devices & Services Experience Design (DXD) team, focusing on Core UX for Fire TV and Fire Tablet, while also managing complex enterprise workflows for Amazon Developer. This role requires strategic thinking, systems-level design, and expertise in navigating policy and compliance constraints at scale.
Responsibilities
Own design vision and UX strategy for Amazon Developer Portal experiences
Create complex multi-step B2B workflows including developer onboarding, monetization, and compliance
Design end-to-end service blueprints for cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple teams
Influence product roadmap with design insights, user research, and strategic recommendations
Drive alignment across product, engineering, and business stakeholders
Partner with engineering on technical architecture and feasibility
Support Device Design Core UX initiatives for Fire TV and Fire Tablet as needed
Qualifications
7+ years of design experience
Experience in process design and documentation
Experience in development or technical support
Experience in designing complex workflows in B2B, B2C, or regulated industries (finance, telecom, insurance, healthcare)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI/ML technologies
Experience designing developer portals or technical products for developer audiences
Technical background: comfortable discussing system architecture, APIs, and data models
Design systems experience: contributing to component libraries and governance
Leadership experience: mentoring designers, driving process improvements
