Sr. Training and Enablement Lead

Position Description CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Training and Enablement Lead to develop, deliver, and manage training programs that support a major federal modernization initiative. This senior role designs instructional content, leads enablement activities across technical and operational teams, and ensures all personnel are fully prepared to adopt new systems, workflows, and processes. The Senior Training and Enablement Lead collaborates closely with cloud, engineering, data, migration, security, and operational teams to build high-impact training that accelerates user readiness and mission execution. Your future duties and responsibilities Training Program Development Design and deliver training programs for new systems, tools, workflows, and mission processes Develop curricula, course materials, guides, job aids, and interactive training modules Conduct needs analyses to tailor training content to diverse mission, technical, and operational audiences Instruction & Facilitation Facilitate instructor-led training, hands-on workshops, and virtual learning sessions Provide expert guidance during onboarding, system rollouts, and major release events Lead enablement activities to ensure users understand new functionality and operational impacts Coordination & Collaboration Work directly with Full Stack Engineers, Cloud Engineers, DevSecOps, QA Automation, migration staff, and product leaders Participate in sprint planning, release preparation, and readiness reviews Align training content with system updates, feature deployments, and modernization milestones Documentation & Content Creation Create and maintain training documentation including manuals, role-based guides, SOPs, and reference materials Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with program and security requirements Support knowledge-transfer activities and develop materials for Transition-In deliverables Performance & Feedback Management Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to refine training programs Track training attendance, completion, proficiency, and readiness metrics Report enablement status to leadership and propose enhancements Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Must have an Active Top Secret Security Clearance U.S. Citizenship Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in training development, instructional design, or enablement leadership Experience designing training for technical environments, including cloud, DevSecOps, software development, and data workflows Strong facilitation skills with the ability to train diverse user groups Excellent communication, documentation, and curriculum development skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting federal modernization or secure operational environments Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise systems Knowledge of adult learning methodologies and modern training delivery platforms Experience developing training materials for large, multi-team programs Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required. #CGIFederalJob #CGIFBICareers Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.
