What You Will Do
GFT is seeking a Senior Track Engineer to join our Transportation Team in Audubon, PA! This role follows a remote or hybrid work model, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

What You'll Be Challenged To Do
- Serve as lead Track Engineer on projects.
- Assures that projects are completed within the allocated time and budget.
- Provide team leadership and technical expertise.
- Plans, organizes, and supervises the work of junior engineers and technicians serving as project support staff.
- Grow and mentor staff, help recruit, and be a positive role model.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies such as AREMA.
- Serves as a technical specialist for the organization for an assigned area of responsibility.
- Perform Independent Reviews of major projects.
Education | Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering field required.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in design of major transit/freight rail engineering transportation projects.
- Strong communications skills.
- Strong experience working with transit agencies and/or Class 1 Railroads.
- Strong experience in the preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, construction phasing, and construction schedules.
- Extensive working knowledge of OpenRail Designer and Civil3D platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and various engineering and scheduling software.
- Professional Engineer license required.

Pay
The range for this position is salary range is $160,000-$200,000. Salary is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
Schedule
Core Business Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
