Sr. Title Closing Processor- Onsite

Edina Realty Title is seeking a Sr. Title Closing Processor for our Brainerd/Baxter, MN closing center. Work as part of the closing team and become an integral part of our buyers’ and sellers’ big day.

About the role

As a Sr. Title Closing Processor, you will prepare closing files that will be reviewed and signed at the closing table. You’ll work side-by-side with Closers, Lenders, production staff, and Agents as a key team member. This is an in-office position, working Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and balance the closing disclosure, settlement statements, and documentation necessary for closing the transaction.
• Ensure that professional and proper procedures are followed in the closing of real estate and mortgage transactions, including proper accounting of escrow funds, reviewing lender packages, recording packages, and correcting all if necessary.
• Monitor upcoming transactions, reviewing for completeness and compliance, and ensuring all necessary information has been ordered and is accurate (e.g., payoff, abstract, title evidence, reports, mortgage documentation, and other pertinent information).
• Review for completeness and compliance.
• Ensure that title issues are resolved prior to closing.
• Prepare and submit deposits and disbursement documentation and/or commission packages to appropriate entities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
• Two to five years of real estate, mortgage, or title experience.

• Ability to occasionally work extra hours during peak times of the month.
• Willingness to travel.
• Position may require a title license.

Pay

$23.00 - $26.00 hourly; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for formulary incentive plan, based on financial results.
