Responsibilities

• A key contributor to the overall unified customer experience of U.S. Bank.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service in accordance with U.S. Bank’s Core Values.
• Accountable for sales and service activities in all Consumer Banking and Branch Delivery branch locations (Metro, Community, and In‑Store On‑Site).
• Handle routine financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, advances, payment, etc.) while ensuring a positive interaction with customers/non‑customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend U.S. Bancorp products as appropriate.
• Follow established policies and procedures while processing transactions to mitigate risk.
• Bilingual Tellers perform these responsibilities in the languages deemed essential within a particular branch or community.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of experience as a teller

Preferred Skills/Experience

• May be required to stand for extended periods of time
• May be required to lift bags/boxes of coin weighing up to 50 lbs
• Demonstrates a proven commitment to provide excellent customer service and models skills consistent with U.S. Bank’s Core Values
• Willingness to gain knowledge of U.S. Bancorp products
• Basic math and computer skills required
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00
