About the role
The Sr. Techsigint Compliance SME position at Themis Insight is located in the Fort Meade, MD vicinity. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, and a deep technical understanding of signal characteristics to ensure compliance in signal processing, collection, and retention. The ideal candidate will leverage compliant practices and understand the implications of TechSIGINT operations and analytic activities.
Responsibilities
- Capture and refine system requirements to align stakeholder needs with development activities.
- Provide user and group training and develop training materials.
- Participate in outreach activities to grow the product user community.
- Develop and execute requirements, test plans, and training to ensure compliance of TechSIGINT applications.
- Independently complete assignments with minimal day-to-day supervision.
- Communicate technical, procedural, specialized, and legal information clearly and professionally.
- Select and apply appropriate work methods, procedures, techniques, and practices independently.
- Train new team members and complete non-routine and complex assignments.
- Build and utilize collaborative networks with key contacts within and outside the organization.
- Explain technical, procedural, specialized, and legal information to non-experts.
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience and an Associate’s degree, or six (6) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or four (4) years of relevant experience and a Master's Degree.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience may be substituted for an Associate’s degree.
- Degree must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or a related technical field.
- A broader range of degrees will be considered for those who have completed a relevant military training program such as 9141 (Navy Intermediate Technical ELINT Analyst), 1N2A (Air Force Intermediate Technical ELINT Analyst), 451/461 (Intermediate Signals Analysis), 452 (Advanced Signals Analysis), or Military Signals Analysis Program (MSAP).
- Relevant experience must be in one or more of the following: signals analysis (COMINT, ELINT, FISINT or PROFORMA), or design and engineering of aerospace, communications, electronic or industrial systems.
