Sr. Technology Project Manager
About the role
The BJC IT PMO is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead strategic, high-impact technology work across the Application Portfolio, supporting both Clinical and Shared Services initiatives. This is a great opportunity for an experienced project leader who wants to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Analyses and designs business processes to identify alternative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness and exploit new technologies and automation.
- Manages the execution of business process improvements being enabled by technology.
- Selects, tailors and implements methods and tools for improving business processes at program, project or team level.
- Maintains the business case for funding the program and confirms continuing business viability of the program at regular intervals.
- Develops and communicates the technology change management approach and plans in collaboration with sponsors, users and project teams and provides guidance and makes suggestions to support change sponsors.
- Uses key performance indicators to monitor and challenge performance and identify opportunities for continual improvement.
- Identifies where changes are required, evaluates the impact, and advises stakeholders about the implications and consequences.
- Negotiates variations and seeks appropriate authorisation.
- Supports and engages with experts and stakeholders to ensure continual improvements are identified through review and benchmarking processes.
Requirements
- Education: Bach Deg and/or Equivalent
- Experience: 10+ years
